Filomenita Mongaya Høgsholm is the founder of Babaylan Denmark and is an Executive Board member of Babaylan Europe. She is also the editor of the ABAKADA quarterly on women, migration and development.

    Freelance journalist and Editor working for Danish media as well as publications abroad since the ‘80s in Europe, Middle East, and since the ‘70s in the Philippines and US. Has also done radio, produced documentary films,holds public lectures, arranges  cultural visits of groups from abroad, public forums, conferences and conceptualizes projects on women including International Dialogues, publications and websites.Editor for several terms of Cosmo, Intl. Women’s Club of Copenhagen.
